Photographs
I tend to shoot in digital, but prefer 35mm when it's convenient and/or possible. Click the photos to launch.
The Boundary Waters '03
These photos took a long time to develop, even longer to digitize, and the same to post. They are being shared after an unlikely 5 years of survival. You'll notice the water damage from when the film was still in the instant camera. I actually think it improves the pictures. This trip was my first into deep nature. I suppose I define that as camping far away from parking lots, telephones and city lights. Here I saw color in the Milk Way for the first time, shortly after turning 20 years old.
Gasparilla Island
Here are some photos from our much-appreciated Vacation to Gasparilla Island, FL.
Camping
Some select shots from our weekend at Governer Dodge State Park.
Live from Austin, TX
Some pics from my trip to this fabulous diamond in the rough.
The Last Supper (At the Berghoff)
After a hundered and some years in operation, the restaurant my grandfather dined at as a boy is shutting its doors. My friends Amelia, Kate and Jason joined me in bidding the Berghoff farewell, though our waiter gave us some bitter-sweet hope that it may eventually re-open. We'll see. At least the beer isn't going anywhere..
Buenos Aires
Marshall and I had the pleasure of spending a week with our father (you'll see him pointing at everything if you're not aquainted) in Buenos Aires to celebrate his retirement. I'm not sure what most people do when they visit that fantastic city, but we slept and prowled for german food. There happened o be one of the more historic establishments, 'Restaurant y Cerveceria Hermann' just below our apartment. We also had the pleasure of gettting to know Eduardo Santiere, an incredibly talented artist, even better person, and a now good friend.
